Ticket to Ride

Hola Peoples
This week has been a good one. We have been playing a lot of Ticket to Ride (A board game) with our free time. It is crazy though how much stress and tension it can bring. We also have a 5th missionary with us now. Elder Randal from Makidye. His companion had to take a "short" trip to Ethioopia to close his work permit. So he is with us now. I find it weird that they are closing his area right now for like 2-3 weeks. Closing a work permit in Ethiopia takes a long time! But it has been fun!

Yesterday we had the baptism of a long awaited investigator. He should have been baptized a few weeks ago but he had to go to the village for a funeral. His name is John. He is a great guy! I have loved seeing how he has changed so much as we have taught him and what not. I don't think I will ever not love the feeling of watching conversion happen in someone! When you see the happiness it can bring to someone you really can see why the sons of Mosiah and Alma the Younger liked missionary work so much!
We also had Zone Conference this week which was interesting. 6 Missionaries as a zone was something else. It was kind of cool though because it just felt a lot more personal and such. We had a nice discussion by comparing D&C 58:26-28 and Proverbs 3:5-6. For me it really just got me to think about how often the Lord won't direct us because he trusts us and knows we will do our best and if necessary he will then send the spirit to direct us. President Collings focused more on how sometimes we just need to act! As it says in D&C if we are compelled in all things we are slothful so by having us act we learn a lot more.
Well I hope you all have a great week!
Love Elder Seibert
